time, Moo must face daily humiliations at school and deal with a complex and ever-changing relationship with his one friend. The book is suspenseful and the view of morality and human nature dark and ambiguous. The end is a cliff hanger and, while it rings true to the story, it is not really satisfying. Moreover, the colloquial language make the book hard to read at times, especially for English language learners. Show Less
