begins to go crazy, and how this all turns out is a very sad commentary on the United States. There is a lot of talk during the book that Bran, who is just a high-schooler, could be just like his father. There is so much pain and agony during this book, most of all for Bran and his friends David and Molly. David has to decide whether to choose his friendship with Bran over his popular girlfriend and her football team friends. There is bullying and violence and a lot of questions without good answers in this book. A sad book with a sad ending which only exposes the humanity and cruelty in our society. Show Less
