I couldn't read past the first chapter. First: it's unauthorized and I have doubts as to how accurate the book is, and second: the tone is very negative--seemed like the author was going to bash Jimmy and I didn't want to read that! I could be wrong though--I didn't read it.

Right off the bat there is a letter from Jimmy Buffett not to publish or write this book. So it is an unauthorized biography, that piqued my interest even more. What I found was a very well researched book about Jimmy Buffett there are many sources from interviews, articles written and books. I

thought that the books was well written and provide a fair story of Jimmy Buffett. What I thought was going to be a hit piece or at least a very unflattering book turned out to be a great read. One learns not only about Jimmy but gest a little history lesson about the places he lived, places he worked, and the places where he played. I think if you like Jimmy Buffett this a book for you.
