My best friend's sister passed away on August 3, 2011. This book was in Rosa's apartment and Mom Ferguson asked if anyone wanted the books on the table. I took this one and I think it was a 'godwink' not only from God, but also from Rosa.

The book tells of many coincidences (or godwinks as the

author calls them) in people’s lives. How signs are received at just the right moment, how someone does something unusual, only to discover that it saved their life or the life of someone else. These true stories lets us know that God is indeed communicating with us. The book shares accounts of 'godwinks" from Tim Conway, Rudy Giuliani, Don Knotts, and Billy Graham, along with many whose names are not known to the masses.

It is a must read book! If you believe, your belief will be stronger, and if you don't believe, it sure gives you something to think about.

If you believe there's not such thing as a coincidence, then you'll love this easy-to-read collection of poignant vignettes that will bring a smile to your face and, if you cry as easily as I do, tears to your eyes. Rushnell weaves together some of the best and most moving examples of God's

involvement in every aspect of our lives.

I both liked this book and was disappointed by it. I had hoped it would say more about recognizing and being receptive to "God-winks." A collection of personal stories about people who have experienced this doesn't necessarily help me in my daily life.
