Indian Art Series: Timeless Art

The legacy of finely etched script and well-versed scribes goes back to the Vedic era of ancient India, when its oral traditions were transcribed into written shastras or sacred scriptures. Essentially based on the tradition of writing with a kalam (a reed pen dipped in ink for inscribing), these artistic impressions are a celebration of the art of hand-written word.
