Description
A crucial figure from Gutai?s younger generation, Onoda Minoru (1937?2008) joined the radical post-war artists? group in 1965. His prolific painting career was marked by new forms, styles, and hierarchy expressed through lines and circles. Minoru is known for at first creating undulating, dotted shapes that seem to grow organically, then progressing to infinite circles and later also monochrome paintings, where the edge reappears.
