Shilpa Gupta: Drawing in the Dark

India is the homeland of the artist Shilpa Gupta, but the border is her most important theme. Not only because her art is now drawing international attention and is anchored in intermedia; the border also plays a very specific role, because the artist has been studying everyday life at India's border with Bangladesh in a long-term project.
