Description

The impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950s. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father. 5-6 grade. This story is a biography of the life of philosopher/scientist, Charles Darwin and all of his discoveries and travels. May be too controversial to present to class.

The childhood formation of a man's personal relation to God.

Most of it is crazy great, but the ending ruined it for me. What better way to follow up an awe-inspiring death of the universe than with 15 minutes of people hugging on a beach? Bah.
