Registered Nurse I have some of my own pet theories based on more than 20 years' experience...this is a decent little review of basic applied and theoretical neuropsychology. Should be useful as a springboard for more detailed research by non-specialists such as novelists, who would be well-advised to ensure that their efforts at character development don't remain in the "cardboard" range.

Always keep in mind that his providing solutions to your problems is how he shows you he loves you. This book was pretty short and basic, but if you don't know much about psychology already, it is a great ""Cliffs notes"" version.

Expected scientific explanations with generalizations to illustrate, but was far more geared toward broad generalizations vaguely correlated to science. Very limited treatment of the topic and men are relegated to a narrow range of behavior. Part of the book seems to be assuaging the guilt of

parents raising unpleasant people because their children are not violent or irresponsible, they are just being male.
No discussion seemed to be given regarding the variability of brains within the sexes, but I did stop reading because the book was so disappointing, and the ePub was corrupt to top it all off.
