Fitzpatrick's Celtica puts other artists to shame. The work is exquisite and informed by his passion for his own cultural patrimony.

I suppose technically this is not a graphic novel in the traditional sense, just a heavily illustrated story. But the mode of illustration is similar to that used in many graphic novels.
