Local notes

Copy of a Mixtec/Aztec Codex, :Tut yehe dahui quevui, or Tonalpohualli Book of Days, a Handbook of the 260 day ritual calendar. Greg Stafford took the book apart and reassembled it in the order of the original codex, a long folded scroll, illustrated on both sides. There are handwritten notes describing the illustrations, their symbols, and the deities depicted. The English portions of the book are not included in this codex; see the Codex Borgia intact book. A gift of the estate of Greg Stafford.
