This would be an awesome book except for one thing...
Punctuation! I don't know if it is a Brit thing or an academic thing or a British academic thing but when I have to go back to re-read a paragraph and put in the commas an semi-colons to figure out what the heck the author is saying...

Probably good in its day, but that was a long time ago. The shelves are too full, and we have Cunliffe's The Ancient Celts, so this one has gone on the Out pile.
