Second, a practical guide to the "Open Reading" method, focusing on the look and feel of the cards rather than on fixed interpretations. Third, a detailed handbook for the classic version of the Tarot deck, the Tarot de Marseille. This author is arguably the best in the new wave of interpretative tarologists.
With a global pictoric and pattern-driven interpretation of the spreads with feedback between tarologist and consultant Tarot sessions get closer to psicanalitic therapies and the cards' role are akin to a Roscharch (ink

blot) test.
This was the way so-called "fortune-telling" was used long ago (even today in China): ritualistic pattern recognizing in order to get precious insight into problem resolving.. There is no such thing as "future prediction" only the Present exists in perpetual motion. The Future is only an ever-changing possibility and can often be changed by the consultant following his needs and aspirations
Besides self-editing this nice book the author also produced an excellent modern unpretentious rendering of the classic Conver Tarot deck indispensable in every Tarot deck collection.
Highly recommended.
