Julia Cameron is witty, honest and irreverent as she takes us on a journey to look at the culture of spirituality. She uses spiritual straight-talk to help readers to see true spiritual experience and true inspiration. There are paradoxes and contradictions all around us in the spiritual trek

through today's world. "God is no Laughing Matter" will help readers find their inner compass and strengthen a perssonal connection with the divine.
she concludes that spiritual experts have clouded the messaage and her book show women how they can make concious choices for themselves that will enrich their life. But she does not mention God or Jesus Christ in any of this. I think she has a spiritual defect in her egotistical explanation of spiritual matters.
