which are good for fighting, there are many exercises for maintaining good health and there are many meditation methods to aid peoples development. What makes tai chi special is that it has the martial, healing and spiritual all happening at the same time. We do not need to learn three different systems, all three aspects are within our tai chi.

Paul Brecher BA FAcS began training in the martal arts at the age of ten and is now the Senior Instructor for the World Taiji Boxing Association in London. He is also a lecturer at The College of Chinese Medicine in London where he teaches Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
