Chee Soo was born in 1919. During the War, he fought in France, North Africa and Burma, where he was captured by the Japanese. Immediately after the War, he began teaching the Chinese Arts and founded the Chinese Cultural Arts Association to train instructors and organize teaching programmes. He has been president of the Association since 1958, which with the International Wu Shu association now spans the globe.
