Sifu Lamar M. Davis has trained in the martial arts for thirty-two years of his life at the time of this book's first printing. Although the first ten years of that was training in other martial arts, he has devoted the last twenty-two years of his life to an exhaustive study of jun fan gung fu and jeet kune do. These are the fighting methods developed, practiced and thaught by the late Bruce Lee during his lifetime. Sifu Davis is a certified full instructor of jun fan/ jeet kune do, having received certification from three of Bruce Lee's original students. Sifu Davis has had over sixty articles published in various marital arts magazines all over the world, and has appeared on the covers of Inside Kung Fu, Inside Karate, Great Britain's Combat magazine and Germany's Kicksider magazine. He is also the Executive Driector and Senior Instructor of Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do International and the Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do Trapping Association.
