Jerry Meyer is a full-time instructor and writer specializing in clay target and wingshooting. He spends much of his time as a guest instructor teaching sporting clays, skeet, trap, and wingshooting clinics at major gun clubs around the country. He is chairman of the National Sporting Clays Association Instructor Certification Commmittee as well as a member of the NSCA Advisory Council. He has served as guest instructor at all the Holland & Holland Sporting Clays Weeks in Vail, Colorado; and he is resident instructor at Wolf Creek Gun Club in Atlanta, Georgia, site of the 1996 Olympic Shooting Event. He writes for several important outdoors magazines, incuding Field & Stream and Sporting Clays Magazine. Jerry is the author of The Sporting Clays Handbook, also published by Lyons & Burford.
