each Section for each Mon grade he/she is to be promoted.

The candidate may choose the techniques and questions he/she is to be examined on.

Whilst Section 2 contains armlocks and strangles, these may not be offered for examination if the candiate is under 12-year-of-age. This means that no Junior may be graded above 10th Mon whilst under 12 years-of-age.

All the techniques should be demonstrated with a co-operative partner and where the demonstration is of a counter throw, the candidate may indicate to his partner which initial attack should be made.

Theory examinations may be taken in excess of the candidate's competitive grade and may be taken at any time. Theory success will be marked on the candidates theory examinatin card whch should be kept in the licence and record book.
