Mr. Stone has traveled extensively in the Orient, staying at Indian asharams, following the monk's routine at zendos, sitting zazen at temples in Japan, and studying the Chi Kung disciplines in Taiwan, China.

He has also taught courses in T'ai Chi Ch'uan, T'ai Chi Chih, Meditation, and Oriental Philosophy and Religion at various schools in the southwestern United States.
