I am delighted to recomemend this book written by Wan Joo Lee, who has patiently done research on tae kwon do an compiled all the endeavors in a form of book while himself training students. He has set an example for martial arts students as well as for others who are interested in Korean culture, by mastering the skills of tae kwon do and at the same time integrating the profound philosophical thoughts and wisdom into practice. I believe you will enjoy this book and also learn alot about the spiritual underpinnings of tae kwon do.-Grand Master, Nam Suk Lee President Central Gymnasium World Tae Kwon Do, Chang Moo Kwan in Los Angeles, California.

This book is a multifarious gathering of wisdom ethical views, manners, and cultural exquisiteness unique to the Korean martial art, tae kwon do. I am greatly delighted to see a book like this that we have not seen for years and I hope that the reader enjoys this book.-Master Sun Ku Kim (Elder) in Seoul, Korea.

I have been a member of Lee's Elite Tae Kwon Do Rederation since 1985. Tae Kwon Do has provided stimulation for mind and body. In addition the classes are excellent for reducing stress. Ater a day of teaching, a workout provides an outlet for adrenalin and allows me to relax.-Larry Finklestein 2nd dan black vest

In my capacity as a (Canadian) Law Enforcement Officer, I am at times confronted wiht volatile and potentially dangerous situations. The abiity to confidently use both defensive and offensive self-defence techniques has been of assistance to me and could ultimately save a life. Sincerely, Ron Dudney (Jr.) Ontario
