a series of simple exercises, helps to develop the security and the abilty using relaxation and correct posture, realising the 'One point centre of the space'. A second chapter is dedicated to the art of ki aikido (Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido): the aim of this disciipline is the harmonization of teh self with the iutside world.

The second part concerns the author's experiences during 20 years of teaching the principles of 'Mind and Body Unification' and the Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido, in many different situations: to the rehabilitation therapists, to handicapped people, musicians, dancers and sportsmen, to children and students in Public School. There are also described the working methods and results obtained in terms of the benefits of this discipline in the different areas of application.

The book is rich of numerous illustrations and contains the list al all principles, the Taiji list, and the illustrations about the ki taiso and the aiki taiso.

Giuseppe Ruglioni was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1953. He graduated in Modern History at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Florence. Actually he is assistant lecturer of the Ki No Kenkyukai of Tokyo and 4th dan of Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido.

A pupil of the master Koichi Tohei (founder of Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido) and Kenjiro Yoshigasaki (respoinsible of Ki No Kenkukai in Europe) he is held to be one of the greatest European representatives of this discipline. He is the responsible of the Ki Dojo Association in Florence and regularly holds seminars in many Italian and European dojos. He also collaborates on a regular basais with specialised rehabilitation centres for disabled.
