blood-and-sweat attitude in Eugene S. Robinson's homage to the art of asskickery. As Robinson says, ripping off John Milius, 'Crushing your enemies, driving them before you, and hearing the lamentations of their women? It doesn't get any better than this.'

Robinson-a former bodybuilder, onetime bouncer, and lifelong fight connoisseur-takes readers on a no-holds-barred plunge into what fighitng is all about, and what fights live for: the feel of muscles slippery with sweat; the metallic tang of blood mingling with saliva in the mouth; the sweet, firm thud of taped knuckles impacting flesh. For the love of laying it all on the line-for the love of the fight.

Fight is Eugene S. Robinson's highly opinionated idiosyncratic look at fighting in all its forms and glory, including boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and Muay Thai; bar fighting, knife fighting, prison fighting, and hockey fighing. There are interviess wit some of the biggest names inall facets of the fight game, as well as Robinson's lists of the greatest (and worst) movie fight scenes, the most out-of-control sports brawls, and his instructions on how to throw the perfect left hook. Come an take the scene-by-scene tour of the bloody but beautiful underworld that is the art of fighting.
