A story that follows three friends who do everything with each other. They go through many adventures together and they want to end the night with a sleepover, but they find out that sometimes friends can't always be with each other.

read-aloud in a fourth grade classroom, given 4 stars, not the best book for a theme but it has good illustrations

The illustrations in this book are fantastic. The underlying message is that all different kinds can be friends and true friends will always be there for you even when you are apart. Great book!

I thought that this was a cute and engaging book for younger readers, especially those who like animals. One reason I liked this book is because of the illustrations, which were all simple and done in pastel colors. The rooster, mouse, and pig are depicted as cute animals rather than realistically,

which is engaging for the targeted young audience. The animals smile throughout the illustrations as they embark on adventures around the town, giving the book a warm and happy feel. I also liked this book because of the theme that was made prevalent throughout the book and in the title. As the animals go on adventures together, they get into situations where they need to make decisions, and the author uses this to teach the readers small lessons about friendship. For example, one page says, “Friends are always fair” and another says, “Good friends always decide things together.” The author explicitly states how friends should behave, but disguises it in the context of the story. I think this book can be used as a great instructional tool to teach students about how to be a good friend. The main idea of this story is that true friends always treat each other nicely.

This book has great illustrations and is a great book to teach kids about teamwork and friendship. The 3 friends do tasks that would not be possible alone.

This is a picture book about friendship. The three main characters are animals. Charlie is rooster, Percy the Pig, and Johnny the mouse. They set out on their daily bike riding adventuure abd encounter an abandoned boat that proves to be their adventure for today. As they figure out to navigate the

boat together the aithor point out some key aspects of friendship. One lesson stated in the book is, "Good friends always decided things together.' This book is simple but would be a good read aloud to build classroom unity and how to work with others. It would be a good addtion to k-2 classrooms and perhaps as part of a counseling center library. The illustration are vibrant and fun.

A little odd, what with the rooster having a perfect rainbow tail, for example. But very simple, with no real conflict or drama. Just oh so sweet.
