The second part of the book is composed of actual prayers. I have never been a real fan or written prayers, and his are too long to be used for focused meditation, but for some people they may be very helpful.

If you are looking for a standard Christian work on prayer, this is not the book for you. But if you want your prayer to get a real jolt, no matter what your tradition, you might find this book to be charged just about right.
