comprehensive yet concise, and sober. The articles lay out the facts fairly objectively with mini-bibliographies and, for theorists, little "mission statements." There are a wealth of of drawings, diagrams, and photographs that help to illustrate the articles. A wonderful reference for the average reader, or just those interested in strange phenomena, whether they believe in them or not (I don't). Good.
