Description
With characteristic eloquence and insight, Buechner presents a three-part series of reflections that probe, through the course of one day, the innermost mysteries of life. Blending an artist's eye for natureal beauty, the true meaning of human encounters, and the significance of occurances (momentous or seemly trival), with a wealth of personal, literacy, biblical, and spiritual insights, he offers a matchless opportunity for readers to discover the hidden wisdom that can be gleaned through a heightened experience of daily life.

This book is like an old wooden rollar coaster I use to ride at Adventureland. During the ride I'm wondering what all the little noises and creeks are, hoping the thing doesn't fall apart while I'm still attached. I can feel the wind blowing on my face and am a little scared to throw my hands in

the air because the bar I'm holding on to doesn't seem to be offering much protection. And then the ride comes to a stop and I realize that those 5 minutes were some of the best I've ever spent and I want to go again and again and again. Show Less

I don't have slightest idea what he is talking about most of the time. Although, I gave up after the first chapter.
