Loved the book UNTIL the end. There is no ending. Did they forget to print the other half of the story? I don't buy or read books so I can draw my own conclusions. I need closure and satisfaction, which I did not have with this book.

I am also annoyed that people compared this book to Francine

River's Redeeming Love (which is my favorite book) and Janette Oke's books. This book is nothing like those books and I suggest that you skip this book and just read those "classics."

I was not satisfied with this book so I will not be reading any other books by this author.

I wasn't going to write a review until the read the first review, which I completely disagreed with. I loved this book and I thought the ending was perfect. Pittman does an excellent job of building up both main characters and you empathize with them no matter who you are. She does such a great job

conveying Christ's sacrificial love for us and the story is both heart-wrenching and heart-warming at the same time. I also do not like to compare authors or books because each author is unique and each book has a new and different story to tell.

This is a wonderful book and a promising start to a the "Crossroads of Grace" series. At the beginning of this book Gloria is a pregnant prostitute in an isolated mining town in Wyoming. There, she is thrown together with John William McGregan, a man with an infant of his own whose mother has died.

Pittman tells the story of the unlikely "family's" trip to Oregon and the slow but steady change in the couple. There is a tragedy, and of course, redemption. Like many Christian novels, this one ends a bit predictably, but it is a well written, entertaining, read. I highly recommend it.

Another Historical Christian Fiction about a prostitute, but unlike any other. This story is based in the northwest of the United States and brings together a very unlikely list of characters that as a reader you come to understand and find little ways to relate to. This is a good read, it is for a

mature audience, however.
