I picked this one up cheap at a used book store. I've heard good things about this Jewish scholar on early Judaism. This is a huge tome and I hope to pick through it as I find the time... or self-control.

What little I have read of this book, I am not a big fan. Edersheim uses Jewish sources that are far outdated and bases his exegesis and theology off some of these. I have heard and read from many that this work has become extremely outdated. However, of course, you can still learn from him and
