David is the man Jayne always wanted and knew she could never have. Great easy read.
I ended up liking Landon more than I thought I would at the beginning of the book. His character really grows in the course of
Jamie comes across as almost too good to be true, but she's so sweet. If it were real life, I'd say God gave her the understanding of "an older soul" because she seems to understand many life lessons that her peers haven't yet grasped.
I liked that passages from the Bible were included and that reading the Bible was one of the things that Landon and Jamie did together. I also like that Landon didn't abandon their relationship when things got tough, and that the town (or at least church) rallied behind Jamie after she and her father shared their news.
