This was my first Fern Michaels book! Didn't know what I'd been missing. When Lizzie Fox and the Vigilantes got the first female elected President of the US, they didn't know her veep came with his very own brothel in Nevada. The girls rise to the moment when the FBI wants to collect the ladies of

the Happy Day Camp and imprison them for bringing their act to D.C. If anyone should go to jail, it should be the men who brought them to the Capitol (twice), not the ladies. The madam is killed in a car "accident" and the girls are scattered all over the globe. It's up to Lizzie and Cosmo Cricket and the ladies of the Vigilantes to see it all ends up as it should.

The Vigilantes are back and better than ever! Whether you start here and skip about the series or have read each book as it was published you won't feel at a loss. Each book stands well on it own. With the growth each woman (and her man) is undergoing these stories never seem repetitive or shallow.

I was not aware this book was part of a series when I choose it. Therefore, all ot the interpersonal relationships among the characters was hard to follow. I would have enjoyed this book more if I had read it in sequence with the other books in the series.

In this book about the sisterhood they take on the vice president, some congressman, and sentors. They did not like the way he was doing things. When the took on they help out others.
