Liked this one too, but it had some of the Griffin laziness. Fine detail of 20 years then skip five years. I would have liked to know what happened then. Maybe its just bad editing.

I just can't put these books down. They just keep coming up on my ipod. I like the Lowell character best: he's filthy rich but is engaged by work in the Army. Confined to staff puke work, he continues to amaze, then punches the pooch. On to book #6, The Generals.

Fourth time reading this first book in the Brotherhood of War series. It's like meeting up with an old friend you haven't seen for a while. The characters are well known to you. The story may be familiar but still absorbing. W.E.B Griffin is a master storyteller. Highly recommend to anyone who is
