Poet in the Street

Reveals, through a gifted poet's eye, both the serious and humorous aspects of Israeli society, including the kibbutz movement and army life. Conveys some of the traumatic changes that have occurred during the past 50 years. Each poem has an eloquent introduction which explains what the author was thinking and/or experiencing as he tried to find and hold onto his Zionist ideals.
