This is a book for young children. There are many full page pictures of how the weather is during the winter time. It is easy to flip through and see.

When Winter Comes is a short book about the season change and what winter brings. The picture are very pretty and it is a great book for young children to learn about the seasons.

This book uses photographs and simple descriptions of winter. It would not be a book I would choose since it concentrates on areas where there is snow all around and it would not apply to my students. I felt like I was looking through a home-made photo album with little notes about the pictures.
