What Makes Day and Night? is an informative book about the cycle of our days on earth and what makes day and night. I really enjoyed this book because of the language choice and characters that were used. The simplicity of the words used but still conveying meaning as well as repetition of key

conceptual words really made this a strong book for me. For example when talking about orbit they had the characters repeat the word orbit and even broke it up into or-bit. The characters positive outlook towards learning and wanting to know more is also encouraging for the growth of the reader. Showing interest could help aid the reader wanting to learn more as well.
