This simple rhyming book states a bunch of things that sometimes have wings (or don't). It's a very easy read, especially with the rhyming pattern and illustrations.

This book is about the love of wings, those "wonderful flying things." This story is told in rhyme. I was interested to see in one of the illustrations a bear reading "Tolon Tales." Tolon, as is mentioned in the about the author section, is Marc Brown's son to whom the book is dedicated.

Great book for children learning about animals and how they look. The pictures offer different shapes, colors, and a great imagination for children to explore. It also tells about what wings are and aren't on which educates children.

Cute picture book in not-so-excellent verse. "Wings of many sizes/Big and small/and short and tall." just doesn't flow well. That aside, it's got nice illustrations and it's pretty funny. I did enjoy that one of the things that had wings was a wingback chair.
