I love the idea of bringing a childs favorite stuffed animal to life when we aren't looking. I think everyone had that Idea when they were children ( I believe they have made 3 Toy Story's about just that idea). I like that the book kept repeating the same lines since repetition is beneficial to

little kids, and that they replaced the adjective with a new word each time because it helps expand vocabulary.

This was a really sweet book with wonderful colorful pictures. In this book the little boy is trying to find his bear that he sleeps so comfortably with every night. He searches everywhere throughout the house and ends up finding his bear right where he needs it to be, in his bed. This book rhymes
Show More
and has a lot of repetition in it. This would be great to introduce young readers about rhyming phrases and repetition. This book also has many adjectives to describe the bear. When trying to show the many different ways and words to describe objects, you could read this book and show how this little boy described his bear so the students could see it first hand.
