This is an excellent book for your kids to learn basic history. Usborne, the publishing company, frequently cleans out its links to minimize the risk of kids seeing something inappropriate while learning about history. My son *loves* this book, as it starts back in the time of primordial ooze and

works forward. Excellent for kids under 10.

This lavishly illustrated volume is geared toward the K-12 market and amply employs Internet sources. It is an excellent resource with high-quality illustrations and sources that remain available since the publisher consistently maintains the links and the Internet sources.
