Sunday has had enough of being underappreciated and decides to take a break, so the other days of the week hold auditions to see if they can find a replacement day for Sunday. While many of the submissions are hilarious, they eventually come to realize that Sunday just needed a little

gratitude.

This was a very funny book that subtly hides the message of showing kindness and appreciation towards others, while also giving room to one's own self for growth. The illustrations are cheery and colorful, with the characters of the days reminding me a bit of the emotions from "Inside Out."

This is definitely a book that will make readers laugh, with silly antics for kids and clever puns for adults.
