#10 in the Fly Guy series. In this story, Fly Guy out smarts a flyswatter machine. These are great early reader chapter books that have fun story lines and fantastic illustrations that highlight the adventures of Buzz and Fly Guy.

In this book, Buzz accidentally takes Fly Guy along with him on a school field trip to a fly swatter factory. When a new robotic fly swatter machine is introduced and a little fly is about to be swatted, Fly Guy comes to the rescue, risking his own life. He ends up being followed by the machine

throughout the whole factory, destroying it in the process.

The Fly Guy books are well-written and well-illustrated. The illustrations showcase the story and characters really well and add some great humor. I love the message of the importance of standing up for someone even when you put yourself at risk.

I liked this book for one main reason! The story pushes readers to think about tough issues. Riding buses, going to school, experiencing field trips, and losing pets are all tough issues for preschoolers and young readers. Buzz boy goes to school, rides the bus, goes on a field trip and comes close

to losing his pet, Fly guy. As a reader reads about these events and tough issues in the story they can learn how to handle and deal with them and realize that they too can tackle them just like Buzz boy did! The big idea of the story was to always look out for your friends. Buzz boy always had Fly guys back, even when it meant acting out at the factory to save him.

This fun easy reader sees Fly guy and Buzz go on a school trip. Not a trip I would like to take, because chaos ensues. A fun read for any age.
