I loved how this book had both illustrations and photographs. I think it nicely juxtaposed the imaginative thinking about space life, and what we actually know. The illustrations also reminded me of sesame street or where the wild things are. I like how this book can foster discussion between the

reader and those being read to.

This book covers some very basic facts about outer space. The book briefly discusses the history of space exploration and of legends of extraterrestrial life like the War of the Worlds radio broadcast. The pictures are fun and eye-catching. This book could stimulate some conversation about life,

the solar system and our universe. However, the information presented is very surface-level. The book seems to be more about reading practice that anything else substantial.
