This book is very fun for younger children and utilizes scientific terms to describe parts of a daffodil or other elements of nature.

I've read this book to 3 year old children and they seemed to enjoy it. However, I would avoid going 3 or lower in many cases because the subject matter, words, and length might diminish interest and attention.
