Excellent beginner's book by well-respected beekeeper, lots of detail, reference book, updated version - but measurements not yet metricated and only 4 of the photos are in colour.

This book gets credit for having lots of technical stuff about the bees themselves. Diagrams and pictures of bees and developing bees with detailed physiology, as well as all the normal stuff about how to keep bees. Shall keep it to refer to.
