In this book it talks about many different animals and how they live. It gives a detail description of them and lets the reader know what they do. The point of the story is it is showing some of the animals that have been around since Jesus was born. At the end of the story, the animals all made it

too the stable and how they are getting there is watching the star. This book not only shows about animals but is also telling the story of Jesus in a sense. I would suggest reading this book to a classroom because it gives the students the understanding of what certain animals do and how they live. An animal in this book was a snake and it showed pictures of how the snake traveled through the sand. Sheppardsoftware.com has aton of animal games that children could play. This could help give them the undersranding of how animals eat, sleep, and live.

The book "We Were There" is a christian book that shows all kinds of different animals and other creatures. The animals and creatures all are going to be there for the special moment to witness the birth of a baby boy that is going to born in a stable. Each creature tells a little bit about there

self and says that they will be there for the moment with the birth takes place. Its a great story for children to get to know the birth of Jesus Christ a little better. The pictures are a great example for them to totally get the full affect of what happened long ago one winter night.

This tells the story of the very small creatures who were present for Jesus’ birth.

One winter night, a baby boy was born with only the animals to witness. It wasn’t only the big animals such as the cows and the donkeys, but there were small less loved creatures there too. Very cute story to read to children around christmas time. It is a way to teach them that everyone should

be recognized, because we are all special in our own way.

Tonight, snake, toad, scorpion, cockroach, bat, spider, and rat are all on a journey. They know that no one will see them when they arrive for there will be no light in the corner where they gather. But they will be there in the stable on that very special night.

The donkey, the cow, and the lamb

witnessed the arrival of the baby, but, in this tale, the smaller, lesser-loved creatures have a place in the stable and give a different perspective to the story.
A series of lovely paintings illustrate the charming poem, creating a children’s picture book to treasure.

Highly recommended.
