The exhibition [The Library of Babel], was inspired by the Argentinean novelist Jorge Luis Borges' "The Library of Babel," written in 1941, in which Borges depicts a library of infinite dimensions housing all that can be expressed in language [...] through the work of four artists, [...] the exhibition endeavours to depict the labyrinthine world of Borges' library-universre, of the "information-universe" we see therein.' Artists included are Yamaguchi Katsuhiro, Kohmura Masao, Suzuki Ryoji and Xu Bing. The catalogue includes essays, artist statements and illustrations of the artists' work.
