With the kind cooperation of the Canadian Government, ninety paintings by twenty-five Canadian artists have been specially selected for this exhibition from the National Gallery of Canada and other major galleries.'

addition to its rapid industrial and economic development, Canada has been making rapid developments culturally and artistically. Although Canada and Japan are neighbors across the Pacific Ocean, very little of Canadian culture has found its way to Japan, aside from a few exhibitions.
