a connection to be made. In this exhibit, twelve artists work with Adrian in making choices that highlighted the curatorial process and the creative economy in Saskatoon. The second in the series, Express, celebrated the life of performance artist Ahasiw Maskegon-Iskwew whose expression, action, and effect on both the aboriginal and non-aboriginal world is far-reaching. The third in the series, Joined, explored the joining of artists' ideas. It involved the joining and interpretation of the Mendel Art Gallery's permanent collection with new works created by local artists. These three exhibitions created the opportunity for the Curator-in-Residence, artists, and the Mendel Art Gallery to explore and experiment with curatorial ideas and exhibition presentation.'
