I read this for the Book Riot Read Harder 2017 challenge - a collection of poetry in translation on a theme other than love.

Robert Bly, with commentary by Bly. Truthfully, my favorite part of the book was Bly's commentary. He helped make sense of the poems. The poems were nice enough, but really didn't do anything for me. I read slower than my usual pace, so that I could really understand the poems, but it didn't help.I feel like someone who enjoys poetry will like this book. It just wasn't for me.
