Description: readers of Naked Through the Gate know that during the final months of Joel's path, he took to the road, visiting spiritual communities and teachers to record the 15 minute episodes for his video magazine The Here and Now News Service.

This episode of The Here and Now News Service features a longer interview with 20th century American mystic Franklin Merrell-Wolff discussing death from the perspective of his awakening and his long life.

Contents:
* Joel and Ed hike to the Ashrama to film and talk about the building and its majestic setting. (approx 15 min.)

* With Franklin's student Dianne H., Joel interviews Franklin Merrell-Wolff, touching on the following topics: The transition called death, approaching death consciously, Dr. Wolff's realization August 7th, 1936, and it's relationship to death; Induction, Introceptualism, the mystical unity of religious traditions, the Quan Yin Vow (or Bodhisattva Vow), first steps a student can take on the path. (Approx 50 min.)

* Out takes: Joel and Dianne have an informal discussion with Dr. Wolff while Joel takes some head shots of Dianne and himself while Dr. Wolff is off camera.
