Description: In this talk, given in 2006 to Eugene Chapter of the Institute for Noetic Sciences, Joel analyzes the subject-object paradox which lies at the core of the crisis in our current scientific paradigm. He then shows how the non-dual teachings of the mystics of all humanity's great spiritual traditions can point to a new worldview that embraces both mysticism and science as different but complementary ways of apprehending the same underlying reality.
